Love that has blossomed during college time, has its own unique charm and it's always a pleasure to capture their love story taking its first big steps towards the wonderful nuptials. Jessal and Sampriti’s wedding photoshoot was one such experience we had. A beautiful ceremony held at Sofitel on the beautiful island of Bahrain. A wedding that was truly a celebration of love, culture and meticulously planned details that made it truly unforgettable.
A story that started with a serendipitous meeting during their undergraduate days leading to a sweet disagreement over Jessal’s spelling, which led to a shared seat in a lecture hall and eventually to a shared life. The couple chose Bahrain as their wedding destination, entrusting the intricate planning to Sampriti’s parents. With meticulous attention to detail, from pink bottle tops matching the décor to selecting the perfect outfits, they ensured everything was flawless. The Sofitel was their venue of choice, offering stunning island views and exceptional service. Couple photography of the wedding screams that it was an unforgettable experience.
This event was a lively amalgamation of rituals, party games, dance performances, and mehendi. With a master of ceremonies explaining the significance of each ritual, even guests unfamiliar with Indian traditions felt engaged and informed. The vibrant décor, featuring tassels, marigold strings, and bulb lighting, created a festive atmosphere that was beautifully captured in our photographs. Jessal's anarkali and Sampriti’s stunning jacketed Anarkali set a stylish tone for the evening.
The wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale. Held on an island at the Sofitel, the ceremony was adorned in hues of pink and cream, inspired by the saree Sampriti’s mother wore on her own wedding day. Her choosing to wear her mother’s traditional Banarasi saree was an act that added a layer of emotional depth to the ceremony, symbolizing the continuity of love and tradition between generations. Jessal in his white sherwani complemented her traditional attire beautifully.
The mandap design, reflected on all wedding stationery, created a cohesive theme. Guests rang small bells during key moments, adding a unique touch to the celebration. The beach as the backdrop of the daytime Pheras was like a cherry on the cake. The serene sound of waves and the gentle sea breeze enhanced the magical ambiance of the ceremony.
The reception in Sofitel’s ballroom was a blend of elegance and joy. With speeches, guest videos, and a delectable dinner spread, the evening was both heartfelt and enjoyable. The simple yet sophisticated décor, featuring chandeliers, candles, and pastel floral arrangements, provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s attire.
Be it the pre wedding photography or the wedding photoshoot, we felt blended in, capturing moments as they unfold naturally. We were deeply moved by the love, laughter, and meticulous planning that went into Jessal and Sampriti’s wedding. From the intimate moments of the haldi to the grandeur of the wedding ceremony, every detail did not fail to touch all those who were present there.
